OVERVIEW & JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Director, Marketing is responsible for driving revenue growth for the US Surgical Dye franchise. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and will conceptualize and implement marketing strategies to maximize the value of the Surgical Dye market as well as lead the Marketing department.
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES
- Oversee the cross functional development of the individual brand strategy, its execution through relevant, measurable key performance indicators identification.
- Deliver portfolio forecasts based on brand strategies, marketing programs, and corporate operational objectives.
- Collaborate with appropriate internal functions and external stakeholders to drive the effective translation of business strategy into supporting marketing tactics.
- In collaboration with the Global Marketing team, set the US strategic short and mid term vision for the Dye portfolio.
- Define a business plan to improve the Portfolio Value Proposition over time to position Provepharm as a pioneer in the Dye Market.
- Collaborate closely with Global Marketing team to ensure strategic alignment and synergistic approach to effectively share resources.
- Build marketing planning, execution, and governance processes
- Ensure compliance with all applicable internal guidelines and policies
Job Requirements:
- BS/BA degree required; MBA preferred
- 10 years in pharmaceutical industry; 5 years of strategic marketing both at local (US) and Global levels
- Product Launch Experience required
- Buy & Bill experience required
- Institutional Commercial experience required
- 3 years of sales leadership preferred
- Strategic contracting experience (IDN & GPO) preferred
Competencies
- Experience leading teams, coaching individuals and creating excellent team culture
- Working knowledge of market forecasts and relationship of business drivers to revenue
- Operate with high integrity in all matters with a proven ability to motivate teams and individuals
- Understanding of regulatory requirements related to marketing materials and programs.
- Brand forecasting, financial planning and management experience
- Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts
