Required education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4 years, commercial contracting experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related industry
- Strong Contract Pricing Analytics experience
- Prior knowledge of a contract database such as iContracts.
- Prior knowledge of a 3PL and the various 3PL systems would be a plus but not required.
- Prior knowledge of GPO, IDN, and distributor contracts
Main missions
The Manager, Commercial Contracts & Pricing Operations will be responsible for overseeing contract management, operations, commercial pricing analytics, and contract access strategies. This role will also coordinate the administration, development and drafting of commercial contracts. Additionally, the Manager, Commercial Contracts & Pricing Operations will be responsible for maintaining and operating all commercial contracts within the contract database (iContracts), generating ad-hoc reports, managing account level details, and ensuring internal alignment with relevant functional departments.
General responsibilities:
- Contract Management – Responsible for coordinating the creation, execution, and routing of customer agreements
- Contract Operation – Responsible for implementing account level contract access strategies, as well as well as the day-to-day operational management of customer contracts
- Contract Pricing Analytics – Work closely with the head of Contract Operations to develop and maintain pricing models that support commercial contracts
- Contract Database Maintenance – Perform periodic audits of the contract related systems and maintain all contract-related databases, spreadsheets, electronic records, and files
- Ad-hoc Reports – Create and maintain reports related to sales performance, market conditions, competitive data and operational information

- Location: Hybrid. 3 days a week in office, Newark, NJ
If your contract is extended to a permanent contract, you will have the following benefits:
- Base pay range : $130,000 - $150,000 plus bonus
